Pengganti RXZ : Fakta @ Auta?

Fakta @ Auta?

Weird weeks of the Car

The Ferrari 458 Speciale officially has the best engine
"The 488 doesn't have quite the tingling effervescence of the 458, doesn't goad you to the redline in quite the same way, doesn't sing so lustily when you get there..."
So said we when we got our oppo-applying mitts on Ferrari's new V8 supercar a couple of weeks ago. And it would appear the wise, presumably lead-footed judges of the International Engine of the Year Awards - yep, that's a thing - agree.
The 458 Speciale's wondrous 4.5-litre V8, in all its 597bhp naturally aspirated goodness, has just picked up the ‘Above 4-litre' trophy for the second year on the trot, following wins for the F12 Berlinetta's V12 and the regular 458's V8 in the years before.
We're intrigued to see if the 488 can continue the run of success when the Speciale has shuffled its way off this mortal coil. Of course, that twin-turbo V8 will be competing in the sub-four-litre class...

This is a Jaguar XJR fire engine
Mere days after Jaguar threw the facelift treatment at its XJ super saloon, the big Brit limo has been turned into a chase car for Bloodhound SSC.
It joins a blue'n'orange liveried F-Type as one of the (fingers crossed) 1,000mph record-breaking car's Rapid Response Vehicles.
It's no longer a luxury-rich limo, the XJ's back seats ripped out and replaced with all manner of rescue equipment, including various fire-fighting foams and some cutting equipment.
Ensuring it reaches the hopefully hypothetical accident in good haste, the XJR's 542bhp supercharged V8 is in charge of propulsion.
The coolest fire engine on the planet?

You can limbo under a car
Well, this girl can, apparently garnering a new record in the process.
Shemika Charles reckons she's the first person to have shimmied her way under a car. The bendy 22-year-old did so after seeking a new challenge having been unable to better her world-record 8.5inch limbo - the height of a beer bottle.
Charles trains for six hours a day, performs limbo for a living and has been described as a "freak of nature" by her chiropractor. Mercifully for anyone with eyes, this is a record TG will not be attempting to beat...

There will soon be see-through trucks...
Good news, nervy overtakers: help is at hand. Samsung has developed something called ‘The Safety Truck', a lorry that uses a camera up front and telly screen out back to project the road ahead to frustrated drivers stuck behind.
Dangerous jabs onto the wrong side of the road to seek an overtaking opportunity are a thing of the past, then, providing you've got faith in the technology. Here's hoping there's no lag in the system.
Whether the big TVs can be linked up to media players to entertain gridlocked traffic jams hasn't been confirmed, though the potential DVD content of a lorry driver's cab may have immediately marked that out as a bad idea.

Bentley seems to be naming cars after ugly whale breeds
Bentley's going to get a reputation. Only a small handful of months after christening its SUV ‘Bentayga', to the dismay of people who like nice words, the Crewe firm has bestowed the word ‘Beluga' upon this Flying Spur special edition.
Beluga Specification basically sportifies your large, fast saloon, serving up "more athletic stance and purposeful visual appeal" via some 20-inch machined alloy wheels and gloss black detailing on the outside, with deep pile carpets and knurled gear shift paddles inside.
The poshness of it all ought to answer the following question: does its name refer to the Beluga whale, or Beluga caviar?

The Toyota Camatte is a real working car for kids
The Cozy Coupe may be the world's best-selling ‘car', but Toyota has left it looking less than smart.
The Toyota Camatte Hajime, to give it its fullest title, is a car for kids offering far more than some cheaply assembled plastic requiring imagination and brum-brum noises.
It's a real working machine, and doesn't it look, well, flipping brilliant? At 3 metres long it sits somewhere between a Smart Fortwo and Forfour, and it's nearly as wide too.
But it looks heaps more fun, even if Toyota hasn't released a power figure for its electric motor. The much bigger question is this: can big kids have a go too?

Little Review/History::AR125, AR80

Street debut in style!

We have made this model overview for you of the Kawasaki AR and the affiliated models such as the AE50 and 80 and the Micro Magnum and Ninja80 . With it you can determine wich model you have, comparing your framenumber with our database. You can find your framenumber at the right-front of your frame, where the electrical cables are. If you have questions about this or other items , do not hesitate to email us at technical @ ar50.info

The first concept of the AR50, wich shows a single seat racer with radial finned head and CBX tail.

"Big Bike fixtures"

"Kawasaki have decided to knock Honda off the number one spot. Nobody doubts their ability to build big, beefy performance bikes but can they hope to succeed in the fickle mass market for tiddlers?"

So began the review of the 'new' Kawasaki models AR and AE in 1981. The answer to the above question is easy now. They did succeed. Building a motorcycle that lasts for years and years.

"The customers they want are learners between 16 and 18 years old who buy for technical innovation and big bike styling as much as performance and costs. There are two engine sizes: 49 and 78cc. The fifties are 30mph restricted (UK). Both sizes are available in AR roadrace styling (A-Roadrace) or as enduro styled AE (A-Enduro) trail bikes"

"The frame is a full cradle , so there is no weedy-looking empty space under the steering head But the biggest feature of the rear end, indeed the biggest feature of the AR and AE range is that we have the first Kawasaki road bike with UNI-TRAK suspension"

The first Kawasaki AR models are the A-types. They have a totally different tail . Parallel to the A-range Kawasaki produced the AE50 models, wich were more different from the AR50 C models than the A models are.

Kawasaki AE50

The AE50 models actually are the offroad version of the AR50A wich are produced in the early 80's

Kawasaki started the production of the AR50 models in 1981 , and finished it for most markets in 1996 with the AR50-C10 , available in 2 colours Sunbeam Red and Ebony.

The AR50 catalogue price in 1996 was about € 2000,00 in the Netherlands an Belgium

The AR affiliated models are still available in Asian countries, where they are available under another name: Ninja80 or Micro Magnum and the latest model: ARmicro.

Actually Kawasaki never should stop producing this model, but that's our opinon.

The models were available in many different countries , Japan, the USA, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece, Belgium, South Africa, Germany etc.

There were also special versions of the AR models, the AR50S and the AR80-II ,

For those who want that little bit more, Kawasaki produced the Kawasaki AR80 and the Kawasaki AR125

From the Kawasaki AR50, Aoshima made a 1:12 scale model , the first version was a Firecracker red A2, the second a lime green A2. Both with cowling / windscreen
More information on these models can be found in the section 'documentation'

The Dry weight of the AR50/80 models is about 78 kg . The AR50 has a 2-stroke engine with a 49cc displacement. Bore x Stroke is 39x41,6 mm and it has a 6-speed transmission (5 speed in the UK) The AR models have an Electronic CD Ignition (CDI) and a fuel capacity of 9,6 Litres. The maximum power (UK market) for the AR50 is 2,1 kW at 4.500 rpm and a maximum torque at 4,5 Nm at 4.000 rpm.

The AR80 has also a 2 stroke engine, but a displacement of 78 cc. The maximum power (UK) is 7,5 kW at 8.500 rpm. The maximum Torque is 8,53 Nm at 8000 rpm.

With an automatic superlube oil injection, the AR models ensure maximum convenience and reliability.

The handlebars of the AR50 and AR80 are separate, so they provide a comfortable low-profile riding position. The proven reed-valve two stroke Single delivers the kind of power that's made Kawasaki famous.

Street Entertainer

The Kawasaki AR125 has an RRIS system: a reed valve and a rotary disk-valve precisely control intake timing to stretch the powerband.

It also has a hot-firing CD ignition but a liquid cooling system.

It has a displcement of 123cc and a Borexstroke of 55x51,8 mm As the AR50 and AR80 it has a 6-speed transmission and a front-disk and rear-drum brake.

The dry weight of the AR125 is 107 kilograms and it had a fuel capacity of 11,5 litres.

All models have Kawasaki's UNI TRAK rear suspension.

As the AR50 range , as told, the AR80 and AR125 had their specials too.

Yamaha YZF-R15::Racing Instinct. - Passing on the “R series” DNA

Concept

Racing Instinct. - Passing on the “R series” DNA -

- Humachine Technologies & Sensual Racing Form -

The YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 are equipped with under cowls that are based on the image of a diffuser, to give them the best form for aero-management. These are not cowls for simply enclosing the engine, but forms composed of blade surfaces that actively control airflow. This spirit has been directly inherited by the YZF-R15 version 2.0.

“Harmony between rider and machine.” YAMAHA's Human Technology involves studying the form of the motorcycle actually in motion with the rider on it. The R series is the embodiment of 1) a wide frontal space that protects the rider, 2) an easy to ride seating area that gives riders the freedom of movement and allows them to steer effectively, 3) the glamorous tail treatment that takes into account the management of airflow behind the rider, and 4) a sensual racing form that brings all 3 of these elements together in a harmonious package. These characteristics have been splendidly reproduced in the YZF-R15 version 2.0.

The YZF-R15 version 2.0 is a new model that has been developed under the concept of a “Graded Up R15.” While maintaining the proven ease of handling of the existing R15, the R15 version 2.0 boasts of spruced up looks and better performance in circuit riding. The design elements are borrowed from the supersport model YZF-R1 that is adapted from YZR-M1 MotoGP race machine.

The YZF-R15 version 2.0 – is a 150cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke fuel injected bike. The R15 version 2.0 has undergone changes as compared to the present YZF-R15 in the specs of the Engine Control unit (ECU), drivetrain unit, a long aluminum swing arm, wider front and rear tires (radial tire for the rear), split seat, LED taillights and new-design middle cowl & tail cowl.

The R15 version 2.0 has undergone changes in the specs of the Engine Control unit (ECU), drivetrain unit, a long aluminum swing arm, wider front and rear tires (radial tire for the rear), split seat, LED taillights and new-design middle cowl & tail cowl to experience the leaner and meaner performance.

Features:

Liquid-cooled Engine

First Indian made model with cooled Engine. Liquid Cooled Engine provide stable performance, reduce vibrations, and offer a high quality ride.

The engine is surrounded by a water jacket in which coolant liquid circulates to cool the engine. While this method is widely used in automobiles and large capacity motorcycles, there are very few examples of motorcycles of this class due to increased weight from components such as radiators. YZF-R15 version 2.0 uses a special compact and lightweight aluminum radiator and a body design that utilizes airflow for heat dissipation. This has enabled us to create a lightweight, compact body while retaining its stable performance.

The benefits of using this method include stable performance during long-distance, high-speed riding and hill climbing. A liquid-cooled engine does not need heat-dissipating fins and therefore the engine is able to deliver its best performance without being affected by temperature. Additionally, because the head and cylinder are enclosed in a water jacket, mechanical noise from the engine is reduced dramatically. The newly developed engine delivers agile riding performance, and excellent performance on straight stretches of road as well as on winding roads. YZF-R15 version 2.0 also delivers excellent environmental performance. These traits are a must for an “urban supersport.” The ride is unprecedented in terms of both excitement and quality.
